| The Sspitfires will begin their 2008 season on Saturday 12 April. All games will be held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. Any short statured males or females over the age of 13 who are interested in playing basketball with the Sspitfires, please contact Meredith Tripp on (03) 9772 3226. |
| The SSPA in conjunction with the Royal Children’s Hospital are holding a Symposium on Sunday 29 June, at the Ella Latham Theatre, 1st Floor, Royal Children’s Hospital, Parkville. There will be medical discussions along with speeches by short statured individuals and parents with children who have short stature. Registrations start from 9:30am with the Symposium starting at 10:00am and going till 3:30pm. | The Victorian Branch of the SSPA will be hosting their annual "Grand Gala Dinner" on Saturday 19 July 2008. The evening will begin at 6.30pm with a two course meal followed by an auction where we raise much needed funds for National SSPA Conventions. Once all formalities are concluded, dancing gets underway with tunes from the DJ. The evening costs $35.00 per person. | On the evening of Thursday 7 August, Retravision in Chelsea will open its generous doors to members and friends of the SSPA to help raise much needed funds for the 2008 National Convention. All items in store will be at cost price, plus 5% which will go to the SSPA. |
Members of the Victorian Branch are invited to enjoy a film and dinner evening at the Crown Casino on Saturday 30 August. Discounted adult film tickets will be available for $8.50 each.
